Olivia Miles is an accomplished film, television, and commercial costume designer whose distinct visual storytelling spans blockbuster studio features, acclaimed prestige series, and award-winning independent projects. Olivia is a long standing member of the Costume Designer Guild, IATSE 892 as well as IATSE 705. She has worked extensively on location, especially New Mexico and Georgia.
Originally from Vermont and now based in Los Angeles, Olivia has designed costumes for a wide range of film and television projects. Her recent work includes Ransom Canyon Seasons 1 and 2 for Netflix, the Peacock series M.I.A., and the Netflix feature Rez Ball. Olivia also designed the costumes for Skin, which won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film.
Olivia teamed with director Tim Story on Shaft, and previously worked with him on Ride Along 2, White Famous, and the “Casino” segment of Kevin Hart: What Now? Her additional feature film credits include the biopic Gotti, starring John Travolta; When the Bough Breaks, starring Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall; and the big-screen adaptation of Entourage.
In television, Olivia has shaped the contemporary style of major network and streaming hits. She served as the costume designer for the final two seasons of HBO’s Entourage, and her work spans a diverse slate of series and pilots, including All American (The CW), Rebel (ABC), The Crazy Ones (CBS), Full Circle, Jane by Design, and the comedy series White Famous. Beyond narrative television, she lent her talents to the "Casino" segment of the stand-up concert film Kevin Hart: What Now?.
Parallel to her narrative work, Olivia remains a sought-after stylist for television commercials and select personal clients.
A passionate advocate for the craft, Olivia frequently speaks about costume design and the entertainment industry. She has been a featured guest and panelist at Teen Vogue Fashion University in New York, The Grove, Columbia College, and California State University, Long Beach.
Olivia resides in Los Angeles with her husband and their Corgi.
